@KillswitchJohn its pretty much the same as drop D, but your low d is actaully a whole other lower string. 7 string standard tuning has a B on the bottom
dang i didn’t know suicide silence tuned standard except on the top string.

@beenoopo Thx for the info. I was almost sure they were longer, but didn’t see it on the site. And I think the guitarists of Meshuggah use 30 inch scale 8 string guitars.
Agile has 28 & 30 inch scale guitars too.
@DarkRattlehead 8 strings have to have a longer scale otherwise the 8th string (F#) would be way to floppy, 26.5 inches is a usual scale but ibanez’ version has a 27 inch scale
@chodeuhlicious The guitar he and Mark use is a Steph Carpenter Signature model, and it’s a 25.5 scale. Maybe ark’s 8 string has a longer scale, but I’m sure all the other guitars are fender scaled (so 25.5)
