@mrzelda8 that…. made no sense at all… i’m just telling you, finger picking with long nails is a lot easier than with short. and it helps the sound too… why don’t you leave some people alone… if they want long nails they can have them.

I cant stand having long nails, so i cut them. I can still finger pick fine without long nails.

@mrzelda8 it’s not the easiest thing to play 16th notes with a pick. i’ve tried.
@schnisha95 what about the pro’s who use picks huh? we dont need long nails :), but it doesnt help that i bite mine so i cant grow mine long anyway hahahah FAIL… but still i only use picks :P

@beatleszach all professional guitarists have long nails on their strumming hand. it helps a lost. especially on fast pieces.

@robyboulianne U fail. I’m a bass player so I have to keep my fingernails short, but my fingerpicking on guitar is just fine. I play all sorts of fingerpicking songs WITHOUT fingernails
you don’t need long nails to do the fingerpicking, and remember to tune your guigtar down one full step to get the right sound
